My car has had mobil1 in it since new and I am now at about 45,000miles. I burn a little over a half a quart between changes so based on everyone's suggestions I am going to switch to Amsoil 10w30 as well. We will see if it burns any less of that and hopefully it is better for the engine.

Honda MTF
Mobil1 75w90 diff

I used to run royal purple in the diff but 2 months after I switched to it my diff was bad. Was it royals fault or just coincidence? not sure, but i'm not testing it on my new diff.

I might just have to try some LE1605 for my upcoming fluids change. My diff makes that whining noise (clutch disengaged) everyone seems to experience Royal Purp or any other similar 75w90 diff oil.

Do you guys get your LE1605 from hardtopguy or ricks? It doesn't look like any of the local parts store carries this stuff.

What do you guys think of the MotorCraft 75w90? Just a tad pricier than the LE1605.

607 Almasol SAE 90 NEW LE1605

Searching for a high-performance diff fluid for your S2000 ? LE-607 90W is your answer.

*****Update*****
The LE-607 has been replaced with the LE1605. For our applications the fluid is exactly the same. What LE did is reduce the size of the snythetic molecules so they wouldn't get caught in filters. Since we don't have a filter on our diff, the change does not effect us.
