At least Valvoline Syn power full synthetic 10W30 is what is in my crankcase.

I live in the desert of Arizona so I can kind of relate to your climate.
I have always run Mobil 1 Full Synthetic 10/30 in all my cars. I ran it in my Supra, in me and my wifes IS250 and also in the s2k. I will say tho that after this oil runs through, I am thinking about switching to use Eneos instead and see how that works. I dont burn a lot or hardly any oil at all (33k miles) but I do want to see if the Eneos works better.
I'm also putting Eneos in the tranny and just put the Eneos 75/90 in the rearend yesterday. Already noticed the reared sounds quieter and I love it. Will be doing the tranny on Monday. Will update then!
