An old idea, rehashed.
Also it seems that a lot of the early drivers were coming from FWD cars and their impressions "colored" many who came afterward.
Now it's true I have an 02 and they had made some changes by then, but not significantly and I came from RWDers and I thought it was well balanced with just a touch too much understeer which was quickly remedied by an alignement. It took me 3 different alignments to get what I wanted but that was an evolution thing.

Hi Jerry,
Thanks for the explanation. Very clear and very helpful. Also helps to explain why I like my zero-toe settings, as I find the car much more settled under hard braking, particularly when I've got some steering input dialed in (i.e., trail braking). I'm willing to live with less traction on turn exit for the greater stability I get under braking.
I didn't know you were having a New Year's party. I'll PM a response.
All the best,
Christopher
