i just had this problem. P2138 is a faulty APP sensor(Accelerator Pedal Position). It considered an emissions part here in california and is covered outside of the normal warranty under california law up to i believe 70000 miles. theres a list in the warranty booklet that has a break down of which states covers up to how many miles. good luck

Just had P2123 come up. Replaced the APP sensor and the car was fine for 2 days. Now the P2127 code went off. Any help appreciated.
