Default Ooops! Oil all over bay...

So I had my mechanic do some work on my car and he's a friggin' idiot. He left my Mugen oil cap somewhere and forgot to put it back on my car when he changed my oil. I picked up my car and drove around for an entire day until I smelled something funny and started seeing smoke. Luckily, I only lost about a quart of oil before realizing what he'd done. Now I have oil all over the place under the hood. What's the best way to clean this up and does Mobil 1 corrode any plastics/rubbers that I should be aware of?

Thanks,

J

if its the bottom plastic cover i would just cat litter which soaks up all the oil but you will end up having a stain, which like the guy above said you can prep it and paint
