OVER REV!

No tail wind or hill. Just don't understand how i ended up with such high rpm. Like i said, accelerated as if i was going to go into second, took it out of gear for a few seconds and then decided that i could still stick it into 1st to speed back up. Dont know what i was thinking. Was probably some bad crack the honda dealer gave me 
You're car is going to explode in approximately 2.8833491 seconds after starting it.

I'd say you did not overrev.....but hit the rev limiter. An overrev can show its ugly head many miles after an incident. Take a look at the thread I posted above.

FWIW I doubt you actually over reved, but if there is any doubt, an inspection will provide peace of mind.
