Default P.I.T.A. driveshaft bolts!

Sup s2ki fam,

Well I finally got those p.i.t.a. driveshaft bolts out! Upon re-installation, I tried to torque them down (24 ft-lbs) but the driveshaft keeps spinning, so I can't get any leverage. I'm running them hand-tightened at the moment (is this acceptable?). Any other "mechanical jedi" ways to torque them down? Thanks in advance! peace

jack car up

put in gear

pull handbrake up

the driveshaft now wont spin since its locked in two ways by both the axles and the clutch on the motor

Don't even have to put it in gear. Just pull up the E-brake

yeah that works well enough most of the time

Especially if the front of the shaft falls down and catches a hole in the ground say bye to the back of your car it will be bent to hell
