Hey everyone, so as the title says the s2k is throwing CEL P0505. To give some background, car is a 2002 AP1. I blew the first motor via track day a year ago. Bought another F20C. Car is effectively stock. The only thing I did was remove the A/C on the new engine prior to install. After the CEL came on, I ensured all vacuum hoses were properly fastened and there were no cracks in any of them. Next I inspected all plugs/connections. No corrosion or frayed wires either. I proceeded to clean the IAC valve, however the problem remained. I have since bought a new IAC valve and installed it, however the CEL is still there. When driving the car, the engine behaves completely normal. It only when stopped the idle surges up and down continuously. At this point I am out of ideas of what to check next. No other codes are being thrown.
