Hello I am having issues with my s2000 electronically the car starts up normal but once I revv it up to 3k and let go of the throttle it like struggles to stay running but then it goes back to it normal idle then when I actually drive it every time I shift into neutral and come to a complete stop it just dies on me I have to keep starting the car to keep moving and then when the CEL come on it goes into limp mode and the car does a vicious jerking motion and dies completely once I put it into neutral. I read the code it said map sensor is not connected or dirty or damaged I went to advance auto to buy a new map sensor I installed it and it worked better but then once the CEL came on it did the same thing. I'm completely stumped because I've watched several videos on YouTube trying to figure out a solution I cleaned the throttle body and the IAC and it still gives me the same problem I hope someone can help me out.

If MAP whack doesn't help. ->
Can you check that throttle position sensor is working correctly? If I remember correctly you can do this with OBD to Bluetooth adapter and some app like Torque. Maybe you can also check what MAP sensor reading is with it.

 

Yeah I just tried the map whack also the tps and they were totally fine so now I'm completely stumped at the moment.

 

So MAP whack didn't work?
