i noticed today that on the back of the stock air box there is a sensor that has to vacum hoses connected to it well the hoses werent connected to the sensor because it was all by passed and nothing was going to the sensorso i put a new hose inorder to get readings to the senor but now i feel the car idles lower and vtec dosent wanna pop good!!! it roars but u dont feel the pull it use to do idk if to put it back to how i found it cause i looked at my boys s2k and everything was put on rite and his s2 pulls nice what should i do.. thnx

Why was it bypassed in the first place? What is the history on the vehicle?

That valve controls the out-flow of the air pump.

Hook it up, hoses and all, just like your friends car.

Or buy a real bypass kit (designed for and works perfectly on US spec cars) from me and get rid of all the airpump crap.

to be honest idk why it was by passed but the car felt a lil faster after we did it but driving home like 3 out of 10 times that i poped vtec it actualy pulled. today after school it ran a lil better and poped vtec more so idk ima jus see what happens and how the car reacts for a little

Ok, well the seconday air pump has nothing to do with vtec, just extra weight slowing you down. Even if hoses were routed incorrectly, it would just show a CEL, not put it into limp mode.
