His builder did. But when I had pm'd him I asked him if he'd give me a warranty when I bought the diff from him. Scot said "if the diff breaks I'll give you your money back" before I bought it. then he and his builder started saying it was my mechanics fault, that he didnt put oil in it. Which is obviously not true as my meachanic is a transmission and driveline shop. It's not that hard to know what oil to put in and the capacity. So I told them to send the diff down to s2kpuddydad so that we'd have an unbiased opinion just as you see it in the quote's above...........
You know, what you paid to install the diff you bought should not be anyting Scot would have to cover. Also if he does cover it, you would need to return the trashed diff to him as part of the settlement. I.E. You get refunded for the parts you bought from Scot, not the labor you paid to your installer.

IMHO Scot liability stops at the cost you paid for the diff. I/When he refunds that to you, the diff becomes his property.

I understand he isn't responsible for the price of the diff swaps, I was mentioning it because of the inconvenience of paying for it the 2nd time when I had to have his diff removed. It's just an unfortunate consequence that went along with buying the diff.

Scot has agreed to refund me the money I put out for the differential. At this point I'll likely just keep me rebuilt puddy diff rather than pay for another install/uninstall. I'll be posting positive feedback for both Scot and s2kpuddydad. Once I'm ready to do a full race diff I'll certainly be going to Ben (s2kpuddydad) and recommend everyone else do the same. His epxerience and customer service skills are second to none.
