Default Please help identifying the cause of this sound

Hello,

I've been hearing a strange noise coming from my engine bay while driving for a few weeks now and I have not been able to identify what the cause is. Could anyone please take a moment and listen to the following wave files?

https://www.dropbox.com/s/ytjfdj2uuo3etem/1.wav

https://www.dropbox.com/s/tdnxv4zr11oli87/2.wav

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I have not been able to find a similar noise anywhere online.

Thank you in advance!

Edit:

I have a 2005 S2k with 92K miles.

Your format is likely turning people away. I'm not keen on downloading things either.

I checked them out since i'm on my work computer. they're safe, but try posting to youtube or something next time OP. you'll get more hits that way.

OP, are you referring to that weird whine/squeak when you first get started? It almost sounds like someone is letting air out of a balloon slowly.

My guess would be that it's a moving part with a rubber seal. the cmc on my RSX-s would squeak sometimes. try checking that out.
