Default PO411 help

I have a cel for a p0411. My hose to the Vacuum tank that goes from that to the sole noid broke off. Would this cause the cel? im going to try to glue it back or something.

what is its function? would it throw a cel

Yes. I had a tiny slit in one of those hoses and it cause a CEL.
