Possible Engine/tranny mount broken?
I'm having a slight shake during idle. While sitting in car idling theres movment like someone is slightly shaking the car. I looked at the motor and there seems to be a slight non-consecutive movment. Goes away when I rise the rpm but I assume its just harding to tell when doing that. The only mount I can see at the moment is the one by the header no crack etc. So.....
Here a quick summery:
-RPM's are fine and steady 800-1k
-Oil is still good
-Valvle adjustment done 7/07
-Car is at level ground
-Hard to feel the movment when rising rpm's
-Pulled spark plugs still good no sign of white/black marking.
-Coils are good no wear sign.
-About 100k on motor/tanny 50/50 driving
Any thing else to check before I bring the car in?
I have a friend thats a hondatech and owns an S which i'll try and bring in sunday(hopfully) for him to clearly diagnosied the problem more.
Hope someone can help, Happy Holidays!

if it is that high on miles, the mount inserts may go bad. But it would normally shake just as much as you rise in the RPM band. There are plenty of shops around the bay that will diagnose the problem for free for you, which is what I would do. I know at my shop we can do it for free, to diagnose the problem. just check around.
Pull the ebrake up and put the car in gear. Slowly release the clutch like you're creeping in traffic. See if engine moves A LOT.
I might have mounts for you bro. I gotta check though since I didnt use them on my swap. Hopefully I didn't chuck them.

its for sure one of the two motor mounts...i have the SAME problem....the mount split in half and never new it...then the car started to vibrate super bad at idle...but once you get it a slit amount of throttle it went away..drove me nuts for a month...i put the car on the lift and started changing my oil and noticed there was a gap on teh driver side mount and ordered one up and replaced it....ever since perfectly fine now~
