I have a problem with my interior lights. When my car is in the "ON" position the lights from the stock radio and dome lights dim, but when I start my engine, the dimming goes away. My car drives completely fine and is completely stock. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

could be your bat going dead. not enough juice to keep the lights bright. does it start any different? any mods electrically speaking?

 

The dimming goes away as in the lights stay on or off?

 

I haven't change my battery in a couple of years but my car starts up fine. No electrical mods, my car is currently stock.

The dimming goes away and my lights are normal only when my engine is started. I might put a voltage meter to the battery and see the charge. Any other ideas.Thanks for the reply.
