After reading all these horror stories on power steering failures I'd thought I'd add my .02. About a week ago I my '03 AP1 threw a CEL. My speedometer/odometer stopped working as well. Ran it with a scanner at Autozone and was traced to the speed sensor. The next day the EPS light came on and power steering was gone. I tried some things I read on the forums but long story short when I crawled under my dash I noticed my modifry yellow jacket came loose from the connector so I secured it with a small zip tie. Started the car and CEL and EPS lights went away and power steering returned within a few minutes. I think Billman pointed this out a few times on the forums but in my experience it was a simple fix that could have been much more expensive. For those of you with swapped differentials and a yellow jacket speedometer corrector please read and heed.

Today I replaced the Torque Sensor with a new one from Honda.

My steering is perfect and seemed to fix all the issues I was having.
Hey did you happen to have a part number for the torque sensor?
