Ok so i have a big problem

The other day i drove over a very deep puddle, right after that my power steering stopped working . Its been like this for 3 days now and i have no idea what could be wrong with it

I checked all my fluids and they are topped off, my s2k is an 03 if that helps at all.

Any opionions or comments will be greatly appreciated

LOL, well, can you find the power steering fluid to top off?

on the serious note: what code is it throwing?

 

Power steering is electrical, so if you drove through a big puddle you may have shorted something out.

is the EPS light on? If its not, the service manual calls for checking the RED wire between the EPS control unit and the motor for a short to ground. If the red wire is ok, replace the steering gearbox due to a short in the motor.

Otherwise if the EPS light is on you can pull the DTC code to help narrow down the problem.

 

have your power steering module checked to see if its working, its right beside the car battery.
