i recently installed tein coilovers. right after the install i noticed this rattling sound. everything is tight and i even readjusted the spring rate. it would be a great help if any suspension gurus could help me out with what it might be.

 

could you pinpoint where the sound's coming from?

 

not really. sounds like it is comming from the right passenger side. i took off the wheel like 2 or 3 times to look at all tiesrods and control arms but everything is tight.

you tighten the nut that holds the pillowball in? I'm betting thats it. CO's new or used? if used how many miles?

 

When does it rattle?

 

everything seemed tight. oh, today i went in reverse up to 10 mph for the first time since i installed it and it kept making the sound. like a constant click click click. idk. im smart when it comes to cars but i cant figure this one out.

 

a constant clicking? I sometimes hear that sound in reverse on my driver side rear. I heard it was a common sound from the diff area. I'm not sure if that's the same sound you're hearing though.

 

are you sure its not just normal? most coilovers make a bit of noise
