well dangit.

now i want to look for my oem propeller shaft that might be somewhere in my backyard and rebuild it with these boots and have it handy if my driveshaft shop shaft ever fails. or maybe rebuild it and sell it.

the oem prop shaft lives.

i may have thrown it away though. not looking forward to searching for it and getting spider webs all over myself. i hope it's not rusted.

I have been trying to start a propshaft cv rebuild program for some time. I found a vendor that will rebuild them at reasonable cost. All that is needed to get things started is a couple of pairs of ap1 and ap2 cores they can rebuild to sit on shelf.

You order a set, then replace them in one session and get car back on road, then ship your cores back for the next guy.

I've been unable to source cv cores. If you have an old propshaft, I want your cv's! My only interest here is the community. Not making anything off this.

It will be easy to ship cv only. You reuse your existing shaft.

For others stumbling into this post, we are talking about the propshaft that connects diff and trans. NOT the driveshafts that connect diff to each wheel.
