Pulling the rest of the block
The head/intake have already been removed. Does anyone have any shortcuts or tips/tricks that might expedite my adventure today?
As always, thank you in advance.
Ex: SlowS2K told me to go ahead and remove the alternator to allow easier access to the intake manifold bracket bolts.

Don't disconnect any AC lines, just unbolt it and move to the side - good luck Skip!
I had planned on dropping it out under the car... I have no hoist. Thanks! How's your beast running? Broken in yet?

On a side note, Is it easier to pull the entire engine out , then take the head off, then remove the block?
Let us know how it goes Skip.

I pulled the head to find a problem. I found more than I wanted and continue to have disturbing nightmares from it!

I hope I caused you no trouble! My motor was pulled from the top and can be re-installed with head and intake mani already installed if you do it from the top!
I left the tuner yesterday with a very conservative tune A/F 11.2 Very safe timing at 398 hp and 245 torque - He knows I track the car so he wanted to play it safe but there is room to squeeze more power but I don't know if I will go down that road! I have to work out some coolant temp problems, Other than that all is good (SO FAR )
