Question of compression
Lowering compression ratio on the S2000 would ofcourse enable higher boost levels in a turbo application. I've heard of everything from elaving it at stock Compression to lowering down to 8.5. I've heard more commonly that a 9.1 compression ratio is ideal. Why?!
Also form my understanding, pistons aswell as a metal head gasket and rods can all lower compression. Is that true or are rods just something that you have to replace when you get new pistons?!
Can you run stock rods on Lower compression ratio pitons such as JE?! Would that even be a good idea?!
What about sleeving... would you have to resleeve the block or is the S2000 block strong enough for say 15psi of boost?!
s2k'ers out there heeeeelllp meee!
