Rear caliper pistons are the same for all years:

Your pad wore uneven because one of the 4 cross points was not set in proper time when the last guy did the pads. The nub on the back of the pad was not engaged in one of the four cross slots, but it was sitting on top of it.

"time" the piston so the nub on the back of the pad engages one of the cross slots.

i would do a rebuild with new seals. i've rebuilt truck and motorcycle calipers, it's not that hard. no need to replace the pistons unless you have pitting or some damage to the sides of the pistons, which is unlikely. heat, moisture, age, etc have an affect on seals causing them to not let the pistons do their job. this creates drag, lowers rolling and braking efficiency and causes unnecessary heat in the bearings, etc... i'm pretty sure my driver's side caliper is getting sticky as the wheel is much hotter than others after some track time. rather than rebuild, i'm going bbk since i track the car.

oh, and do both rears and change the fluid. can't hurt to jack up the front and see how the front wheels spin too.

Thank guys but I can't seem to find a diy with pics beside a drawing diagram. BTW I should replace my brake line as well since its a wear and tear item since the brake fluid need to be flush out for new fluid. What stainless steel brake line should I go with?

Most likely they're the same. The standard caliper rebuild kit is:
01473-S2A-000 001 002 CALIPER SET, RR.

That doesn't include a new piston.
43215-S2A-003 007 002 PISTON ASSY.

I try compressing out the piston using the compressor thru the brake line and the piston wouldn't even come out..
