Default question: X-brace and strut bar...useless combo?

I was wondering if any of y'all knew whether a strutbar can be used with a x-brace. Would there be any added benefit?

There have been SO many threads about their effectiveness. I have a DiGrappa X-brace, but I can't tell any difference whatsoever on the track or street. The STB will provide an even smaller difference. Most agree that the STB is just for looks.

I believe those who agree that it makes no difference only have the x brace. I first installed the spoon x brace and i right away noticed a difference. I installed a JIC strut bar two weeks ago and i felt the difference in that one right away as well. Maybe i am sensitive to my car. Maybe its the placebo effect. I feel a difference. And i know i am not alone

Maybe they do better on some cars. Maybe some S2000s flex more than others. My friend and I both have '02s. I have the X-brace, and he does not. After I installed it, I let him drive it down around a bit, so he could see if mine road differently over some of the bumpy roads around his house. He couldn't tell any difference either.

I had front and rear STBs on my previous car (which actually had struts), and I never could tell a difference on it either. The S2000 does not have struts, so it should benefit even less from an STB (especially an STB that is not completely straight, and has pivot points at each end).

I side with Gernby on this one, although I've not been on a track since I installed my x-brace. Tuning the alignment did more (a lot more) to improve the feeling of the chassis in hard cornering. I can't honestly tell what the x-brace is doing, if anything. As for strut tower braces, I've never had one, but everyone seems to agree that they look really good...
