Quickest, easiest way to drop transmission

^^i guess you just gotta get someone to hold it up while you get the bolts in? it's like 70 lbs (estimate), so not bad if someone's under it holding it like a benchpress position.

Wow, about 70 pounds?!? I was kinda under the impression that it was much heavier.

Stabbing the transmission when working in limited space is one of the challenges with the clutch job. It is easiest when you balance the tranny on a jack (transmission jack preferable) so you are not supporting all the weight, then line up and shove... had installs that required a couple of tries and once it seemed to take dozens... alignment is key. Once fully inserted it will hold without bolts.
