I will start up the car in the morning, runs fine. Drive 35 miles to work. If I stop to tank up, and start the car after it's been stopped for 5 or 10 minutes, it seems fine, then when I take off, it starts to have slight random hesitations, like it's loading up,but a little rev (outside the 3-4K) makes it go away. I can put on cruise control, it will still misfire, but not as bad. When I get to work and parking at idle it will feel like a cylinder is missing. It also behaves like this in gridlock. It actually idles fine, but when accelerating, between 3 and 4,5K it will hesitate like a mild misfire. Coil Pack?

when's the last time you changed your plugs?

 

Check your sparks plugs. Most definitely 1 of your coils is bad you have to check to see what coil is bad.
