I got the recall about 00-02 S2k having axle driveshaf movement in the rear axle. My car has been making the noise associated with this problem for a month now. I'm scheduled to take it to Honda on Friday of next week.

I wanted to know if driving the car around with the axle moving and making noise going to cause further damage to my car. Has anyone had this problem, and will it get worse, because I'm hearing the noise more and more now.

Should I just park the car and wait till next week or will it be ok for another week. I drive about 70 miles a day to work 5 days a week.

I "think" this has to do with a loose axle hub nut. If you drive it too much, the wheel bearing may overheat and get undue wear and tear.

Hey, what recall is this?? I just searched on honda's website as well as on here and can't find anything about this. I just had my axle nut loose and the dealer tightened it and now the car's acting odd... (going to post in a few minutes.)

anyway, where can I find info about this recall??
