Default Rear end woes

Hello all, once again I have rear end woes.

I had the wheel bearing and hub replaced on the L side. Bearing seized up pretty good, and the housing started to spin on the hub, eating it away. So that's fixed.

Now whenever I leave from 0mpg, either forward or reverse, I get this click/snap (high pitched, sounds like pins snapping) - happens about 2-4 times right when the car starts rolling. Sound goes away afterwards but repeats again whenever going from 0mph. Seems to be coming from the L side.

Can somebody help me out? Is the rear end the achilles heel of the s2k? Sometimes I'm afraid to drive the thing, and it's my daily driver!
