Rebuild Incoming!
Hey guys, i just joined up recently. I've only had my S for about a month now and guess what!! yeah, i blew it up
. I don't know if the previous owner had any knowledge about this(i sincerely doubt it) since it is either a connecting rod or wrist pin? Me and a buddy were in the process of getting prepped to pull of the head. I pulled the last spark plug out and its smashed all to hell. I can look down the spark plug tube and see gouges on the surface of the piston.. not just wussy ones either. I got an offer from a member here about possibly selling me his short block but i don't know what the damage to the head is. i know i had coolant in the cylinder so it is probably a cracked head. Wondering how i should go about this and any suggestions would be appreciated.
thanks all, Cody
