Rebuild or shortblock?

If you are just swapping the quote for rebuilt short block from oem did not sound that bad. Do they want core?

What about sleeving the cylinders and replacing the pistons? I dont hear too much on that topic. I would look at that as well.

Thanks for the input. All good thoughts. I'll pursue all of them since I have some time. I rebuilt a couple of motors back in the day, but things were simpler then.
