Default redline mt-90 or lightweight shockproof?

just wondering whether we can use the redline lightweight shockproof in the gearbox ?? i know the recommended is mt-90 but i just tried the lightweight shockproof in another car and the difference was enormous i had motul gear 300 in that gearbox and the lightweight shockproof was soo much better .
no more crunching and smoother shifting

SP is gear oil with EP additives which could damage synchros in a gearbox. Not recommended.

Actually is is generally the EP additives (sulfurs) that eat the synchros - on the MY04 you also have to be concerned about the lubricity of the lube since they went to carbon syncro blocking rings.

Shockproof is designed for differentials, not gearboxes. MTL and MT-90 are designed for gearboxes.

The term lube pros use is "yellow" metals: brass, etc. The worst offenders are what we term "active-sulphur" compounds which GL-5's sometimes contain.

MT-90 except for colder climates where I think the Honda MTF is best.
