Default Relase Bearing?

I still need to do a oil change, but don't think thats the problem. When I do slow shift from 2 to 3 or 3-4 i feel something, it might be that my synchro's are bye bye, but I have a feeling that it can be my release bearing is going byebye instead. It only happends when I do slow shift, when I do them fast, I don't feel the thingy nor do I hear it. When I put my car in reverse, and I push the cluch in and while I'm lifting it off slowly I hear a clicking noise. Is that a proof that its my release bearing? Or is it much worse.
Tomorow (saturday) if everything goes right, i'll be changing the oil to honda mtf so we'll see what happends.

The clicking could be your differential or the driveshafts due to inadequate torque on the spindle nut. As far as the release bearing goes, the coller on which it rides on may need to be cleaned up with crockus cloth and lightly greased. Ther release fork could be greased and the system bleed. Unfortunately you can't get to the coller without removing the tranny, but you can grease the release fork and bleed the system.

couldn't tell you what it is without hearing it. The nuts I am referring to are located on the other side of your wheel caps.

You may consider changing your diff fluid to Mobil 1 75w-90 GL5. Some peeps have reported that the driveshaft nut (located behind wheel cap) was loose. If I remember correctly, they removed the nut (the manual would recommend replacing it with a new nut) and applied a small amount of grease on the back of the nut (not on the threads) where it makes contact with the hub and re-torqued it. If I remember correctly, they torqued it to a value that is greater than what the manual says. I think Honda is doing this, but I don't remember, you'll have to do a search.

I was about to buy that gear oil today, but the place down here was closed, so i'll have to wait till monday. The hub nut you are suggestion me to check, do you have a page in the honda book where I can see where this nut is? https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=225607

Found that topic, think its what you mean. Gonna take a look at it.
