I can't tell what this noise is.any ideas are welcomed or advice at where I should start. It's an 02. Completely stock. I thought it was the tct but billman says he doesn't seem to be that. Car was fine all I did was do an oil change and it started. I think I fudged up cuz I put 10w40 with a Lucas thinking it was going to help the car cuz it has 143k miles and the 100 degree weather outside. The noise seems to be coming from the top end. So I'm praying it's not a rod. But car was fine before the oil change.

Interesting. My mechanic recently recommended that I try Lucas to help with my oil consumption issue.

 

I could use any advice or ideas of where to start. I don't want to just throw money at it and not be sure what it might be.
