Remote open/alarm not working
The Honda OEM alarm system also has 2 inline fuses in the alarm harness near the fuse box. If it was installed properly per the manufacturers instructions there should be stickers on the inline fuse housings labeling them as such. They are little rectangular boxes built into the harness very close to the actual fuse box, but you may need to remove the plastic kick panel to locate them.
This information is based on the system I just installed in my '04. I am not 100% sure that they have always been that way on all earlier models, but I see no reason why they wouldn't be.

I pulled the fuse last night, and it also worked.
BUT, THIS MORNING IT WASN'T WORKING AGAIN!!!! I spent 5 minutes waking up all my neighbors because I couldn't turn off the alarm. Finally, in a last ditch effort I pulled the remote fuse again, and the alarm turned off. (which gives me security concerns actually) Is it that easy to defeat the alarm?)
Does anyone have a theory on why the remote could be reset so it worked but then would stop working again?
Much appreciated.

ooohhh. That's an awesome tip about resetting the alarm. I'll try that.
Did you make sure to configure both your remotes at the same time? Maybe that's why one works and one does not.

Once I pulled the fuse and put it back in... both worked.....
I'll wait a few days and try again.....
Tried it yesterday, neither remote worked on the first, second etc try....
Took myabe 10 tries and it finally unlocked the doors....
Guess pulling the fuse wasn't the magical solution....
Any other ideas?
