Default Removing drive shafts

I'm trying to remove my right side drive shaft and I'm not sure which part of the hub I have to take off to get the axel out.The diy on here says to take the lower a arm ball joint off but the shock is connected to that a arm also so would I take off the bolt holding the shock? Do I have to take off the tie rod ball joint to swing the hub to get the axel out?

The shock is attached to the lower a arm, which is separated from the hub when you separate the balljoint, the whole hub assembly should swing out of the way leaving access to the axle

Dont touch the shock.

-remove 10mm bolt holding abs sensor in and remove abs sensor from knuckle. If you dont, you will break the wires internally when you pull out on the spindle.

-remove 36mm nut on axle

-remove 17mm nut on bottom ball joint

-using ball joint breaker, pop lower ball joint

-remove 6 bolts hold axle to dif

-swing knuckle outwards, remove axle spline from hub, then slide axle out of dif and out of the car

Bringing this post back from the dead.....would you need an alignment after changing your axle this way? It seems you would because you are messing with your suspension when disconnecting the ball joint. However, you havent really messed with the bolts that actually adjusts camber and toe....?
