Try to check your sway bar end links.

What could make that make noise only under braking though?
Does it happen when you go in reverse and hit the brakes as well?

FINALLY!!!!!! Figured it out this weekend after a pad changed and the issues getting far worse. Apparently you must align the crosshatch in the caliper piston with the inboard brake pad as it has a nub in the center the piston must slide down. I had no idea about this and since it's the inboard one you could never really see it. It seems that was causing my pads to not sit correctly and they would move around under braking. I think the issue stemmed from when I changed my seized caliper out about 6 months ago. The left side is the original and must have been aligned correctly and never had an issue when I changed pads, the new rebuilt one for the right side was not aligned correctly when I installed it.
