Rotor, directional?

Hi, is it okay to swap rotors left to right?

aftermarket rotors are almost all the time directional for the front because its vented. direction of the vane will dictate the proper placement of the rotor. the rear however are not vented so it can be interchanged...

What about OEM front rotors?

those are not vented so can be interchanged too?

OEM fronts are vented.!!!

They are vented but not directionally so they can be used on either side. Even most aftermarkets are not directionally vented unless they are a higher quality rotor.

To answer your original question, even though the rotors are not directional, I would not swap them right to left once they had been used. If there is an uneven wear issue with the rotors, fix the problem and then replace them.

No it is not ok.

Replace the rotors.

Why on earth would you swap them? If they were still good, then leave them on the side they have been broken in on.
