Default s2000 clutch buzz cure

I was looking into an s2000 that has the clutch buzz all looks well besides the terrible noise... I've read that it won't go away on some cars reguardless of what you do... the owner says its the original clutch... is this true no matter what is done the noise will still be there on some cars?? I dont wanna buy a car that has an annoying sound I have to live with forever.. Thanks

sorry, it was more of a question and not a statement.

what i was trying to say is, most s2k will have clutch buzz, one more than the other.

but if clutch buzz is keeping u from owning a s2k, then i think your looking for a wrong car.

My '00 had the clutch buzz so bad that by 35k miles (car was 5 or 6 years old at the time) I couldn't stand the inevitable "What's wrong with your car?" questions any longer. I replaced only the disk (as stated in the TSB) and all has been well for about 45k miles since.

Other peoples' experiences may be different.

Red is correct. Clutch Buzz can be taken care of. Honda did the TSB on my car back in 2000 or '01 and I have not had an issue since. It has to do with needing stronger springs in the clutch disc. An aftermarket one should remedy the issue as well.

A clutch job using the curent OEM friction disk fixes the problem. All '00-'01 cars had the problem to some extent.

This is false. Most aftermarket discs will buzz as well. The new OEM disc is all you need. If you plan having more power down the road I recommend getting an ACT pressure plate and an OEM disc. No buzz, twice the clamping force, and feels relatively stock.
