That's not consistent with my experience to date. At 35k miles (6 years old) mine sounded like crap. I replaced the disk, and now at 78k miles it hasn't returned.

my wife's s2k has 132k miles and has clutch buzz. not too bad. my s2k has 139k miles with no clutch buzz. both are 2000 ap1's
