that would be a price im willing to live with... Im gonna see if the guy will take the car with me to a honda dealer and get a diagnostic and if the buzz is the only issue this one might be the one... just cant stand that terrible noise
just turn up the music? lol dont waste 1700 dollars and maybe get the problem fixed. use that money toward something else.

Wait i thought these guys said it would go away if i replaced the clutch disk with the better oem one? Im just thinking 10750 for 2000 model s2000 with 82k is a okay deal? its bb with red/blk interior

I think what he means is that its only a noise not an indication of a problem. Top down and/or music turned up makes it go away. When I bought my 00 in 02 it had the buzz and the dealer changed the clutch and the noise went away, but returned and is still there.

I used to have an '01 that had a really loud clutch buzz. I honestly liked it though. It made the car feel more raw in my eyes, but I will say that it did bother me when I had a passenger in the car. Not because they were bothered by it, but just because I thought they might be bothered with it. I think only one person ever really commented on it though. I say buy the car and live with it!

My sports car makes noise? Piece of junk im buying a Prius!

But in all seriousness listen to Billman as well as the countless others. Get and OEM disk ACT HD Pressure plate once you get the money or the buzz annoys you too much and your golden. Also that price seems a little high to me. I paid 11,2000 for my 2002 three years ago with 69k on it.

Ill do your clutch for 1700. And supply all parts. And leave you 1000 in cash in your secret compartment. Not kidding.

Honda you are pathetic.

This - except for the pad squeal. Twelve years in and I'm still on the original brake pads. As my late father once remarked after I was bragging about the brake wear on an '88 Grand Am I'd once owned "Son, you have to use something to wear it out."

As for the buzz I'm FI with the ACT pressure plate and their street disk. It's probably louder than the OEM MY2000 but I can time my downshifts by the buzz without looking at the tach and it's always nice to let off the throttle downtown between big buildings and watch people looking for where that noise is coming from.

Dude, you sound like the kind of person who would love a Yugo...Trust me, your passengers were asking themselves, "What's wrong with his car?" They were just too polite to bring it up.
