As you can see... it fits perfectly, and also even deeper than the one LHT is selling (LHT posted a video of it, in his latest video, and it doesn't look that deep). It's also less than half the cost.

Dunno why people keep fussing, not listening to my advice and trying to look for other alternatives... just get the dang CTA thang, lol.
Because at least in my experience so far, it is not the tool, it is variation of the filters (aka quality control). The Lisle one fit one of my new filters perfectly and tightly. It rounded off the flutes on the first try on the next filter. I would try that one you mention, but to be honest, the old strap style works on any filter and takes zero more effort to use so I am just not into buying more tools to try out right now for a stupid oil filter. With all this mess and the need to tq it, they should have put a hex head on it like a K&N and called it a day!

In my expirience, oil filters from all companys are manufactured with a diameter tolerance of +/- 0,5 mm, the oil filter wrenches also. Both are not super precise parts manufactured to close tolerances. It´s so simple.

If possible, take the oilfilter you like to use and shop for oil filter wrenches in a real shop, where you can try them on the oil filter. Buy the one with a snug fit. If this is not possible, how cares... the are really cheap. I have a whole box with 8 or 10 of these oil fliter wrenches collected in my garage over the years. If you buy online, you maybe notice that most of theses oil filter wrneches today are the same ones "Made in Taiwan" but only with a different tool company name stamped on.

Where do you all buy your OEM filters?

Where to buy? Like any other Honda part: Any Honda dealer and several on-line parts sources including Amazon and Ebay. Don't forget the crush washer which the dealer should throw in but you may have to separately source it if you buy elsewhere.
