There was a diy on here it took like 3 hours to get the top on. Honestly look at the interior of your car and then imagine taking everything out. Seats, roll bars, everything then you just cut out the top you currently have to get to the rain gutter and the 8 10M nuts then put the new top on the rain gutter re-install it behind the seats and then re-assemble the inside of your car. Easy as pie lol.
I've had the interior completely taken apart multiple times. Didn't phase me at all. But for some reason the rest of the fitting looks like a pain in the ass.

Well it is kind of a pain in the ass. There are I believe eight 14mm screws holding the roll bar in place but you can only get to them through the trunk. It's much easier if you are a smaller person and the fitting really isn't that bad either. The worst part is the catch string the gets riveted to the front of the top. You have to fish it up through the frame of the top and it gets stuck every inch. I used this DIY but I actually purchased an OEM top everything fit like a glove. One thing they don't tell you is the elastic straps for the mid brace in the top should not be pulled tight and should not be stretched an inch. Otherwise the cross brace bar that falls forward, won't and it'll strech the top and make it like a baggy shirt on a motorcycle and be annoying as hell for a week until it tightens back up.

go ahead ask me how i know
