S2000 Will not start no matter what
Have a 2004 S2000 stock and one day, after driving it all day, stopped at a location, shut it down, went inside, came back out less than two minutes. Went to start it and the only sound was the fuel pump. Push started it to get it home without any problem. Checked the battery anyway which is new and it is good to go. But, to this day, after replacing the starter, the kill switch on the clutch pedal, changing the starter, the micro switch in the fuse box under the hood, checking all of the fuses, changing the starter button, in this order, all I still get is the sound of the fuel pump. Any ideas? What am I missing? There's never been any history with this car having any sort of ignition problems and I have known this car since 2005 and bought it from my cousin in 2010.
Maybe you should try actually troubleshooting the problem, instead of just trowing parts at it. Shotgunning is not troubleshooting.
This is one of those areas where all cars are the same, or at least simular. AC is another example. So you can just go online and search for how to troubleshoot starter issues. You will need at least a 12v test light probe, if not a meter (but then you'd have to know how to read a meter).
Are you even getting juice to the starter or the solenoid?

I'm assuming the starter doesn't spin? That is a more specific problem than "car won't start" which could be a dozen problems. A simple 12v test light with alligator clips can determine where the electricity is going and where it stops. Start at the starter solenoid and work toward the battery, etc. Start switch triggers a relay which triggers a solenoid. You can bypass the clutch switch by holding the clutch pedal down with something. There is probably no 12v at the starter but ya gotta confirm every connection.
You can also connect 12v directly to the starter (have the girl in neutral and the car on a lift or jackstands) and see if the thing spins the engine.
