I started driving my 2000 s2000 down the street for roughly 3 or 4 miles before my car dead out while i was going 20 mph. The car would crank, but the engine wouldnt fire up. I'm planning to do a compression test tommrow to make sure it not the engine. I tried push starting the car, it would almost fire up, but it ended up dying out right away.

I just found out there no spark coming out of the coil pack. The engine light doesnt show up when i put the key int he ignition. Anyone have similiar problems?

 

How did you find that out?

 

is the immobilizer key light flashing?

 

The green light key doesnt even come on. There's no spark coming out of the coil pack.

 

how do you know there is no spark??

 

My friend make the screw driver and coil pack touched a metal surface. There wasnt any spark that came out of the coil pack.
