SC Check Valve Issues / Concerns...
Today I installed the ESM and ripped out the checkvalve. Its a <Expletive> night and day difference. It is reasonably cold out, and the throttle response is instant/linear under boost. Screw the ghetto-style checkvalve and swap for the ESM ASAP. My checkengine light even went away.
My car ran bad all night tonight. I got beat by a stock S2000.
But, I'm thinking it might not be the check valve at all. My car has also been starting/igniting rough/slow recently (past 2 weeks), possibly I need new spark plugs. Would high EGT's support this theory at all?
