Scratched Cluster
From what I can tell this part (for AP1's) has been discontinued, but the AP2 versions are still for sale. I've called several part sites that still have them listed "in stock"...turns out they're not in stock and reflect the larger consensus of other sites that this has been discontinued.
Part # is 78170-S2A-E02
After looking at the "Qube LED Gauge Cluster" instructions for disassembly, I wonder if I could find this piece from overseas, as this appears to be the piece that has the tach numbers, and all of the other writing on the cluster. I don't imagine there are many instances of clusters being parted out piece-by-piece.

I'm starting to wonder if the scratches are on the inside of the cluster and maybe even on the LCD panel (black), which is directly behind the clear plastic lens that is in the front of the cluster. Has anyone seen or heard of that happening?
I ran my fingernail across the cluster trying to feel the scratches and didn't feel anything over 99% of them. Also, they way light is bleeding through when the cluster is illuminated (lights turned on) makes me think the black LCD maybe scratched. I suppose I need to take it apart to truly find out.
Either way, I think buying a used cluster is the direction I'll have to go, because:
- If it's the clear lens, the item is discontinued and I doubt I can find a clean one separate from the whole cluster
- If it's the black LCD panel behind the clear lens, a new one costs ~$400 and up.
Here is a picture of my cluster when my lights are turned on....sweet jesus it's horrible!!
