Default Scratched cylinder - possible to bore the block?

So, one of my spark plugs broke while driving (don't know how) so the part fell into the cylinder and scratched the cylinder wall. Can you bore the block and change to pistons with larger diameter, or does the block need to be changed? I know you can't bore some blocks because of some coating on the cylinder walls, but don't know about the S. Anyone?

f20c utilizes a fiber reinforced cylinder wall, i think you can hone them very VERY little but even then I dont think it is reccomended.

You can bore it to .25 mm oversized and user the oversized OEM pistons.

I highly doubt your going to be able to bore enough out to get that scratch out. I had a light scored cylinder and they say if you can feel it with your fingernail, its to deep. I just bought a used short block off of here. This might be the most logical solution.

Haha well its either time to re-sleeve it or buy a block. I got the whole complete bottom end off here for $1500 shipped with internals with 40k miles. Im sure you could find one for around that price.
