Default seafoam

Is it ok to Seafoam a supercharged S2k? If so what line should I use to suck it into the engine? I just don't want to mess up anything.

I think there was a topic about this not to long ago. You just put it into one of your vacuum lines. Everyone including myself always use the one going to the brake booster. You will have pinch the line some so it doesnt die, or suck to much in. That wouldnt be good. Im sure it will be fine if your supercharged or not, it will all just burn up no matter what. Use some in that vacuum, and then dump the rest in the gas tank.

ok. I'm not sure what line is brake booster but there are so many lines. I could probably just use the one i used for the boost gauge. I was just double checking and I wasn't sure if it could get mixed with the gas or not. I seafoam my other cars but they aren't FI. id rather ask than pay for a repair.

Yeah well its the main big one going to it, but whichever you choose will be fine. I've used it before on mine and it smoked like crazy cleaning the gunk out. Just a quick warning, people on here say it can kill your o2 sensor, or clog your cat if you have one. Most people will unbolt their exhaust to do it. At least on our s2k's.

I have a test pipe and a wideband. I don't know if that would make a difference.

A vac line or spraying deep creep, same product into your throttle body while running will work. I actually like the throttle body idea better, cleans it to and less chance of a stall.

I've used seafoam on two cars with no improvements.

I believe you'll find that if you use chevron 91 oc gas there won't be much to clean out of your system. Their gas really does clean your motor.

The major improvements that I've seen show 87oc older cars getting restored idle and power.

As for the 'smoke' that isn't whats in your motor that's the seafoam burning. If you do it, keep the revs low until it's all out of your system, say below 5K. Redlining isn't advised while clearing the seafoam from your car.
