Guys I did a search on "shakes" and found a couple of threads that I need some more info on.

My car has started shaking at highway speeds and I am confident it isn't the alignment. My car also jerks hard right when I brake.

Has anyone else had any of these issue and more importantly what did you do to correct them?

Thanks...

BTW: 57,000 miles on odo

Only at highway speeds..............can you run around test your car say light breaking to stops. Hard acceleration in straight..........in left corner, right corner.(2nd and 3rd gears)

High speed run 80+ and lightly hit breaks also same procedure with hard brakes(without engaging the ABS)

Let us know your results and what happens to the car. Could just be a warped rotor...........or maybe somehting to do with the brakes. Track the car much?

I can run my car today around 5pm. I will do the test and report my results.

I do not track my car (although I want to!).

What should I be looking for (besides what I already know about) while doing this test?

Thanks for the help!

Maybe your wheels need balancing.

You may have lost a wheel weight.
You may have incorrect tire inflation pressure.
You may have a warped brake rotor (pulsation through the brake pedal?) or bad brake pads.
Have all your lug nuts?
