Shift knob removal

Default Shift knob removal

I bought ricks2k's voodoo gear knob a while back and glued it on the lever with Blue Loc tite. Now im trying to twist it off and its not twisting. Ive tried both clockwise and counter clockwise methods. anyone know how to take this monkey off my stick?

spray the knob with windex to clean off the oil, get a glove and twist it off.

don't go CW since it will just get tigher

Maybe try heating the knob up with a hair dryer? I only suggest this because one hot day last summer (95

i second the hair dryer or heat gun. blue loctite is supposed to be broken or weakened by heat.

Put thread seal tape on next time, and then glue. It should be fairly easy to twist off with some force.
