Shift Mechanically Over rev'd
well i was at 3rd trying to get to red line then instead of 4th gear i accidentally put it on 2nd...the shit rev like crazy... going back and forth... anyways now i think im fawk but the car seems ok to me it still push hard... also i never felt the fuel cut off... is there one...?
my question now is that in the future what would i look for...
and tomorrow im going to bring it to the shop if theres something wrong with the car....
any suggestion where .... and how much>?
thanks

sounds more like you just hit the limiter.

did the clutch actually engage when you accidently put it in second?
so far my car is ok .... still push hard... no engine light or any light on my gauge so what do you think...
should i wait before i do to the shop or just have them check out the car... my concerned is that i dont know how much it will cost to check out some broken valve...
If...
you were in third @ redline and accidently put it into second but NEVER engaged the clutch, then you were bouncing off the rev limiter and I would say you're safe.
If...
you were in third @ redline and accidently put it into second and fully released the clutch thereby mechanically over revving the engine, I would definitely tow it into a shop and have them take a look at it.
